Privacy Policy

Loadstars is a workout tracker. It keeps your training on your device, and — if you sign in — a copy in your account so it survives a lost phone and appears on your other devices. It has no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

What Loadstars stores

• Your email address. Used to sign you in and to send your sign-in code. Nothing else is sent to it.
• Your training. Exercises, sets, weights, reps, notes, how hard a set felt, and the dates you trained.
• Optional details about you. Bodyweight, height, year of birth and sex, if you enter them. These sharpen the strength standards and the calorie estimate. Every one of them is optional and can be left blank or removed later.
• Your settings. Units, equipment, training goal and the rest.

Where it is stored

Always on your device. If you are signed in, also in Loadstars' database, hosted by Supabase in Canada. Your rows are readable and writable only by your own account, enforced by the database itself rather than by the app asking nicely.

What Loadstars does not do

• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics, telemetry or crash reporting. The app contacts exactly two places: Loadstars' own database, and this website when you confirm an email.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
• No location, contacts, microphone or camera access.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Only if you turn it on. When you do, Loadstars reads your most recent bodyweight so your strength standards stay accurate, and writes your finished workouts with the active energy they burned.

Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never used for data mining, and is never shared with third parties. It stays between your device, Apple Health or Health Connect, and your own Loadstars account.

Getting your data out, or deleting it

• Export: Profile → Data → Export backup gives you everything as a file you keep.
• Delete your account: Profile → Account & sync → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account and every workout in it, on the device and in the database. It cannot be undone.
• Erase this device only: Profile → Data → Reset app.

You do not have to email anyone to delete your data — it is a button in the app, and it takes effect immediately.

Children

Loadstars is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who can see it, the date at the top will change and the app will say so.
